Universal Studios pictures...

The Simpsons Ride. Built on the same platform of the Back to the Future Ride. It's a definite upgrade from the Back to the Future ride but it's still kinda clunky. The best part for me on this was the pre-show in which Krusty the Clown gets people ready for his new ride. It's interspersed with clips from old Simpsons shows that had to do with Theme Parks and had us laughing the whole time. The ride is fun too...
The backlot tour -- this is a scene from War of the Worlds. That's a real 747 there, kids.

We also rode the tram three days after the New York section of the backlot burned to the ground. Here's one of the shots I came back with.

And another...

The WaterWorld show is 800 percent better than the movie ever was.

Here comes Kevin Kostner.

The kids are hoping they don't get wet... wishful thinking...

Here's the bad guy of the show.

More boats...

but in the end, the bad guy catches on fire and lands in the water. Hooray!

Here are the twins with their favorite cartoon icon. Not the monkey... the sponge.

Dallin with Beetlejuice.

What's a good day at a theme park without getting drenched?

Hey Dallin... the Phantom of the Opera is there! And he's not in your mind!

Hooray for Hollywood....

And done.
