Not much to report on this week, except for Dallin's exciting news which he'll write up on his own.
He also went on his first Klondike campout to Maple Dell in Payson, Utah. And despite not really being as prepared as his mom and dad wanted (he packed over the course of 1/2 an hour before the trip, despite being warned that if you don't prepare well for the Klondike that you will freeze to death during the night) he assured us that he was toasty warm all night, (The campout was during a warming trend prior to a storm the next day), and that his troop even won the klondike derby.
We're thinking that KK has picked up the nasty flu bug going around right now. She's got a rotten sore throat and a pretty significant fever. It got so bad that I (Pat) had to drive to Maverick and get her an ice cream bar.
Karli and I think we accomplished a first this weekend -- we went to every session of stake conference. Whew. It was an amazing experience to be honest, and gave me the ideas for a few blog posts to come.
And for those of you wondering about the fate of our poor Mac, I have good news: We took him into Simply Mac on Saturday to see if they could fix the poor guy. The manager took him from me, put him right on the counter, plugged him in and started him right up. This was both a good and a bad thing. Good because the Mac is ok, but bad because it hurt my pride to watch someone else start the thing right up. His excuse was that he had shook the hand of Henry Winkler the night before and that if the Fonz shook his hand, then it only stands to reason that all he needed to do was punch it and it would work just fine.
We then bought an extra gig of Ram for the Mac, and had a 500 gig hard drive installed on him, just for fun. That should take care of him for the next little while at least.
So, the pictures should resume next week, thanks for your patience.
Oh, and my blog of the week award goes to Matt and Catherine for their creative way of getting people to tell them how cute their girls and boy are. You can find it here -- http://midwestcraners.blogspot.com/ . Catherine tells me she loves to have people comment on her blog, so go do that.
Have a great week.

Yeah Dallin! That's exciting.
Could KK have strep throat? Fever and sore throat are 2 symptoms. I only know this off the top of my head because we had 3 with it last year and 2 with it this year.
Good news about the Mac!
Hey, thanks for the "plug," Pat.
